Early Morning Fishing

I was up north over Labor Day weekend, and one morning I decided to get up early and snap some pics of the sunrise. I met a couple who were getting ready to head out onto the lake and try their luck at fishing.

Mankato Moondogs Game

It's been a while since I've posted anything on this blog, mainly busy I guess, but thats no excuse. I recently had the awesome opportunity to shoot a couple Mankato Moondogs games for the place I interned last summer. It was my favorite thing to shoot there by far and it was awesome to get the chance to do it again.

Magazine Article Shoot

It's been a couple weeks since I've posted anything so here we go! Today at work I was asked to shoot some pictures for a Magazine article that a person at MSUM was working on. I was really pleased with the outcome of these photos.

Last Dragon Basketball Game

As some people know, I am a senior at Minnesota State University- Moorhead, I will be graduating this upcoming spring semester. I have had the opportunity to take pictures of Dragon Basketball since my sophmore year and I can't believe how much it has evolved. The team, marketing, and even the fans got stronger. Here are some pics from my last Dragon Basketball game of my college career, and it was full of little surprises.

Out On The Ice

Minnesota winters can be brutal and cold often leaving people question the climate they live. They can sure be rough but sometimes when its gets bad you have to make the most out it. I decided to make the 4 and a half hour journey home this weekend so I could do a little ice fishing with one of my good buddies. Luckily for us, temps were in the 30's and we didn't have to bundle up and huddle by the
heater.

Cobber Invite

Today I was asked to photograph an indoor track meet for Dragon Athletics. I came into this event thinking  I wasn't going to get too many great photos, but I was proven wrong.

Perfect Timing

A key part to a good photojournalistic photo is being at the right place at the right time. Sometimes those moments come to you, sometimes you'll just have to search for it. This match was pretty intense but as the match progressed, I started to notice a lady in the crowd begin to become more and more excited as the match neared its end.

Success In Nemzek

Usually from past experiences, shooting in Nemzek has always been a tough thing to tackle. This year however, with new lamping installed, and a rejuvenated mens basketball team, it made for quite a good night for some quality shots both for me and the basketball team.

A Winter Sunset

On my way back to Fargo from visiting some family in Illinois I ran across this sunset somewhere just south of Willmar, MN. It was a long day of driving, but there was something so peaceful about this I decided to pull over and snap some photographs.
